"Snow In Midsummer" Taipei Press Conference

"Snow In Midsummer" is co-produced by Malaysia's - SunStrong Entertainment & Janji Pictures, Taiwan's - Taipei Film Commission & Swallow Wings Films and Singapore's - August Pictures officially completed shooting.

Director Chong Keat Aun, together with the stars of the movie, One Fang and Cheng Jen Shuo, were present in Taipei for the movie's press conference announcing the completion of its production phase. In addition, Taiwanese superstar Tang Lanhua also made a surprise appearance!

"Snow In Midsummer", a transnational film of extraordinary significance, will undergo its post-production works in Taipei for sound, special effects, animation and digital rendering. The film is directed by Malaysian director Chong Keat Aun, who won the Golden Horse Award for Best New Director. The film tells the story of what was encountered by a performing arts troupe and two generations of women while they faced the events unfolding during the earth-shattering historical black mark in Malaysian history [May 13 Incident]. The movie is expected to be released in 2023, so stay tuned for more updates!
