"Pavane for an Infant" tells the story of the female workers, Lai Sum (Fish Liew), Fatimah, Sister Kam, and Nurul, at a baby hatch, who tirelessly helps marginalized women navigate the complexities of bodily autonomy and societal judgment.

As Ramadan nears its end, a teenage girl, Siew Man (Natalie Hsu), lingers outside the baby hatch centre, caught between keeping her baby or undergoing an abortion.
