A Bit Crazy Journey is an innovative Chinese New Year feature film that blends road-trip comedy, crime-gangster elements, and heartfelt family affection.
The story follows the naive yet sharp-tongued young man “Bao Yagu” and Aunt Jin, who suffers from memory loss. By a twist of fate, the two embark on a chaotic journey to Perlis, Malaysia’s northernmost state.
Aunt Jin carries a biscuit roll tin that hides a secret, drawing relentless pursuit from a gang and pulling everyone into a web of mistaken identities and dangerous chases.
As the journey spirals further out of control, a long-buried family bond slowly comes to light. Amid their hilarious and desperate escape, they ultimately uncover a truth more precious than any fortune — one that time can never erase.
