Following the huge success of the Lunar New Year film “Family Fun” which brought together actors from Malaysia and Hong Kong, producers Xu Kangwen and Li Yongchang are going even bigger this year, teaming up with new director Dai Minfei and actors from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand to create the 2020 Lunar New Year comedy “New Year Thai Crazy”!
“New Year’s Thai Crazy” has recently started filming in the Klang Valley area, and will later head to Betong in southern Thailand for filming. The film stars Malaysian “Otaku Goddess” Lin Min-chen and Thailand’s super-handsome and talented actor Tul Pakorn Thanasrivanitchai (TUL for short), presenting a hilarious comedy about a real prince meeting a “fake princess”, and the plot will revolve around the significance of the most important “reunion dinner” during the Lunar New Year.
