The film Mother Bhumi is co-produced by SunStrong Entertainment, Sure Honest Holdings Limited, AMTD Digital, Southern Islet Pictures, Landscape Film Sdn Bhd, and Berjaya Pictures Sdn Bhd, with transnational collaboration from Malaysia’s Janji Pictures, Southern Islet Pictures, and Italy’s Volos Films.
This marks the first collaboration between Golden Horse-winning director Chong Keat Aun and Chinese film star Fan Bingbing. The story follows Fan Bingbing’s character, a single mother named Hong Im, who uses magic to help villagers solve their daily struggles. However, her encounter with a mysterious ghost reveals the truth about her late husband. Let’s all look forward to the exciting release of Mother Bhumi!
