Snow In Midsummer
Produced by SunStrong Entertainment and directed by Chong Keat Aun, the film "Snow In Midsummer" has sparked widespread discussion among domestic and international media following its global premiere. Thanks to its outstanding artistic expression and unique cultural style, the film has garnered significant attention at major film festivals.
The film was nominated in multiple film festivals and received the following awards/recognitions:
- Special Mention Musa in the "Cinema & Arts" category at the 80th Venice International Film Festival
- Best Sound Effects and nine nominations at the 60th Golden Horse Awards
- The Firebird Award for Best Film at the 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival
- Invitation to attend "SPOTLIGHT: Apresiasi Sinema Malaysia Tahun 2023" (Appreciation of Malaysian Cinema 2023) and received recognition as one of Malaysia's outstanding cinematic achievements on the international stage

Synopsis:
On May 13, 1969, following the Malaysian general election, tension filled the air. Ah Eng and her mother watched an opera, "The Injustice to Dou E: Show in June" at a temple, while her father and brother attended the "Majestic Theatre" to watch the Taiwanese film "The Jilted". Unexpectedly, riots broke out, the government declared martial law, and blood was shed in Kuala Lumpur. Ah Eng's father and brother went missing without a trace... Forty-nine years later, on the same date, Ah Eng is on a quest to find the remains of her father and brother at a chaotic burial ground. There she meets Dou E, the former opera troupe master. Together, they relive that tragic historical episode's silent and powerless memories...

Synopsis:
During the covid-19 pandemic hits, a teenager returned to his hometown to join a Malay wedding ceremony after quarantining. He takes this opportunity to have a walk to his secret place, named ‘Tao Hua Dao’, it brings back a lot of sweet memories. Through the view of two kids (Hero & Feng) to bring out the sentiment moments about the people and the settings, this film also inspires audiences to be brave in the journey of chasing our dream, be our own Hero!
Zombitopia
15 years later, the world is still recovering from a zombie virus epidemic when a new strain of the virus surfaces amidst the population of Malaysia. Zidik who was orphaned during the first wave of the virus finds himself at risk of losing everyone he has ever cared about for the second time. Discovering that he is in fact immune to the virus, Zidik is brought head-to-head with the mastermind behind the latest zombie attack, Dr Rahman.

In the Mexican town of Santa Clara, lives Salma, a 16-year-old orphan who never got to meet her biological parents. The only story Salma been told her whole life is that they abandoned her. Escape Plan: The Extractors
After security expert Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin’s girlfriend (Jaime King) is also captured. It is revealed that the man behind the kidnappings is a son of a former friend-turned-enemy. Now he and his team must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.
Big Three Dragons
Sheng Enterprise is the biggest name in competitive mahjong and this is where the story of ‘Big Three Dragons’ begins. Shun Shao Bai is the heir apparent to the company, but ends up banished from the company after his playful antics at the company’s anniversary party disgraces him. Left with nothing to his name, Shun must defeat his uncle in a deadly mahjong game to win his rightful place back in the company.

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands turned exciting after their encounter with the three. Endless adventures await them along the trip and they even accidentally entered an aboriginal tribe village, making the trip an unforgettable one.
The Spiral
Jon Caine, a respected lecturer in a university, was found missing. Three months later he resurfaced and massacred a group of civilians and police at a cafe. After being apprehended by Detective Inspector Aleana, he was sent to an asylum to be interrogated by a criminal psychologist, Dr Melanie Surya. Jon was erratic and psychotic, as well as deadly – traits that he didn’t have before he went missing. Melanie soon learnt that her very existence is the key to Jon’s sudden change of behavior and ultimately, she unlocked the secret that Jon has held inside him.

Synopsis:

However, the arrival of a little girl who claims to be his daughter turns his world completely upside down.
Best Story
The short film of Best Story narrates the lessons that separate groups of people have learned in their life paths. The stories happened when the money game has collapsed in Malaysia. The storyline begins with Chen Yao Zu (Starred by Jack Yap), who always seems to succeed in every stage of his life but unfortunately not. Chen Yao Zu was a loser in his study life, working life and love story. Therefore, Chen Yao Zu is expecting killing Darren (Starred by Jack Lim) would change his fate.

2024 RisingStories Story Pitching Competition
"The press conference for the 2024 RisingStories Story Pitching Competition, organized by Studio76 and co-organized by SunStrong Entertainment, CK Stanley International Media, Muwav Digital Studio, and Paul Monkey, was successfully held.
This year's theme, ""Asian Love Stories,"" particularly encourages submissions focused on love-themed narratives and introduces a new category for micro-series. The competition is chaired by Angie Chai, the ""Godmother of Idol Dramas,"" and features a professional judging panel that includes Taipei Film Festival Best Actress Sandrine Pinna, Best Actor Frederick Lee, Golden Bell Award-winning screenwriter Chih Chi Fan, popular screenwriter Pei Yu Lin, and Golden Bell Award-winning director Meng Chieh Lai. The winners will have the chance to secure a screenwriting contract worth 100,000 NTD, paving the way for their creative ideas to be brought to the screen."

Hakka MV "Heaven Next Door" produced by SunStrong Entertainment, and song co-produced by Studio Tingkat 2 Blok Depan, Hakka Affairs Council and the Malaysian Cultural Creativity and Education Association.
The MV highlights on the special moments which bring you back to the traditional letters and handwritten words. The MV tells the story of two female college students from different eras using sincere words to develop their friendship across time and space.
This is a "Eh Wau Bule" across time, space and language, which integrates Taiwanese Hakka, Malaysian Hakka Chinese, Kelantanese Minnan dialect, and Kelantanese Malay dialect to share care without borders through music.

We’re thrilled to announce that our judging panel is hard at work reviewing the entries for SunStrong Entertainment’s Scam Prevention Short Film Contest. As the anticipation builds, we’ll soon reveal the top 10 finalists of the open and student categories on the 2nd of June 2023.
Our contest’s awards ceremony will be taking place at the prestigious Conrad Hotel in Beijing. This event will be power-packed and a great experience, and we’re happy to invite 2 representatives of each entry that makes it into the top 10 of the open and student categories to join the ceremony. SunStrong Entertainment will bear all travel, accommodation, and meal costs for the 2 representatives during the trip.

SunStrong Entertainment's "Echoes of The New Year" Lunar New Year Music Video launching ceremony will be taking place at Pavilion Bukit Jalil on 16th January 2023. Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Digital Communications, The Honourable Teo Nie Ching, Selangor State Legislative Assembly Speaker and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly for Sekinchan, The Honourable Ng Suee Lim, Executive Producer and Founder of SunStrong Entertainment, Jment Lim will speaking at the launching ceremony while Director Chong Keat Aun will be giving a short video explanation on the purpose of the music video.
"Echoes of The New Year" directed by Chong Keat Aun will make its premier at the event which will feature artistic and cultural performances such as festive drums, the Cantonese Opera and Teochew Opera performances.

SunStrong Entertainment's "Scam Prevention Short Film Contest" has been organized to enhance awareness of scam prevention measures and prevent scam crimes. The contest's prime objective is to spread scam prevention knowledge and ideas, promote the development of scam prevention and public welfare culture publicity. This short film contest also aims to attract short film fans to explore scam prevention stories to bring about social value from multiple perspectives. SunStrong Entertainment Sponsored Award and Closing Ceremony of "Herstory FitFest 2024"
The "Herstory FitFest 2024 closing and award ceremony" was successfully held, with Mr Jment Lim, founder of SunStrong Entertainment, as the guest of honour. The event brought together many artists, celebrities and Olympic athletes to show their love for the public welfare.
A "Healthy Time Corridor" was designed to disseminate the correct concepts of sex education to young people. A labour pain station was also set up in the interactive session for young people to experience the pains of childbirth. Meanwhile, in conjunction with the " Speak Up If Something Happens" campaign, Herstory will set up a series of emergency and counselling hotlines, including one for the abandoned baby centre, to help those in need.

The MV was directed by Golden Horse Award Winning Director and classic accent archaeologist for the last 18 years, Chong Keat Aun.
The music video connects the beautiful Hakka, Guangfu, Hainan, Chaozhou and Nyonya Fujian folk tunes with dragon and lion dances, festive drumming, Chinese opera music, the aboriginal sape, etc. At the same time, harvesting at the end of the year in anticipation of the upcoming prosperous new year.

Traditional Chinese Music Video - 新岁团圆
At the beginning of the new year, the classic accents and us are reunited after a long time. After two years of enduring the pandemic, the local Chinese folk arts in Malaysia are in danger. Fortunately, many folk artists are still persevering and looking forward to the day when the on-stage performing arts industry recovers. Chong Keat Aun, who won at 57th Golden Horse Awards as the "Best New Director", convened the precious local Chinese cultural heritage by gathering various different Chinese folk artist and produced the "New Year's reunion" local New Year MV in a full traditional style to congratulate all Chinese people around the world for the Year of The Tiger!

4th MIFFest
Hosted by Jazz Film and co-organized by SunStrong Entertainment, the 4th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) will be held from 5th December to 10th December 2020.
MIFFest has been adhering to humanitarianism as the core theme of the film festival since its inception, and this year is of course no exception. The festival will screen about 20 films from all over the world this year, and will focus on three screening series：World Cinema Masterpieces, Highlights of Asian Cinema and Spotlight on Malaysian Filmmakers.
In addition to film screenings, MIFFest will also organize events such as seminars or master classes related to film production during the film festival. We sincerely invite all friends to follow MIFFest!
