She works the fields with her daughter Ah Wen (Natalie Hsu) and son Ah Khun (Bai Runyin), living an austere and humble life.<br \/>\nBy day, she farms and fights for neighbours whose land is being seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\"><br \/>\nBy night, she becomes a ritual healer, helping the village women dispel sickness and misfortune.<br \/>\nAs land disputes intensify and strange phenomena begin emerging in the village, the mystery behind her husband\u2019s death resurfaces.
