The Lunar New Year comedy “Family Fun” , edited and produced by Li Yongchang and directed by Ding Shiyun, was released from the first day of the Lunar New Year to the thirteenth day of the Lunar New Year (17th), and earned a total of RM3.3 million in the local box office. The Lunar New Year film “Family Fun”, starring Hong Kong’s “veteran actors” Lo Hoi Pang, Sharon Yeung, Joyce Cheng, Lam Chiu Fung, Alex Lam, “local superstar” Ah Niu (Chen Qingxiang), and “otaku goddess” Lin Min-chen, has received rave reviews since its release in Malaysia on the first day of the Chinese New Year. Many audiences came to show their support and praised the film’s main theme of family love, such as “laughter with tears” and “leaving the movie crying”.
