“Big Three” starring Zhang Xuanrui and Chen Jiahua (Ella) was released in Malaysia today (14th). When the movie was released in Taiwan during the Lunar New Year , it broke through NT$25 million (about RM3.32 million) in just 10 days, and has now exceeded NT$30 million (about RM3.99 million) in the box office. Zhang Xuanrui revealed that if “Big Three” performs well at the box office in Malaysia, he hopes to come to Malaysia to meet his fans, and said: “I especially want to go to Malaysia to eat durian!”
Zhang Xuanrui, who has never been to Malaysia, accepted a phone interview with the media yesterday (13th) and was asked how much he hoped “The Big Three” would break in the box office in Malaysia. He humbly said: “I dare not think about the box office, but I hope everyone can support this movie.”
