Out of six nominations, director Chong Keat Aun was also honored with the Best Screenplay Award.
Founded in 2011, the Kuala Lumpur Film Critics Council(MPFKL) consists of local film scholars, professional critics, and media professionals, acknowledging outstanding cinematic works of Malaysia’s diverse languages.
The journey isn’t over yet! Snow In Midsummer has been invited for a special screening at UCLA’s James Bridges Theater on April 4, followed by a post-screening talk with Director Chong Keat Aun.
This honor is dedicated to the victims and families of the 13 May Incident.
