Fish Liew has been nominated for Best Actress at the 11th Kuala Lumpur Film Critics Awards (AMPFKL) for her first leading role in Malaysian film, Pavane for an Infant. The film is the only local Chinese-language production nominated this year.
Presented by SunStrong Entertainment and directed by Chong Keat Aun, Pavane for an Infant stars Fish Liew, Natalie Hsu and Pearlly Chua. The film was selected as Malaysia’s official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards. Its international accolades include the Youth Jury Award at the 39th Fribourg International Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the 12th Silk Road International Film Festival and selection for the Asian Future competition section of the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival.
