“May Snow”, jointly produced by Malaysia’s Shengchuang Entertainment, Jiangzi Films, Taiwan’s Taipei Film Commission, Haipeng Films, and Singapore’s Tangtang Films, wrapped up in Taipei! Director Zhang Jian and main actors Wan Fang and Zheng Renshuo appeared in Taipei at the wrap-up press conference, and Taiwanese superstar Tang Lanhua even made a surprise appearance!
The film is directed by Malaysian director Zhang Jian, who won the Golden Horse Award for Best New Director. The film tells the story of a troupe and two generations of women, and restores the true situation of the earth-shaking Malaysian historical injustice [513 Incident]. This significant transnational film “May Snow” will complete the post-production work of sound, special effects, animation and digital in Taipei, and is expected to meet the audience in 2023.
